One of the most commonly asked questions when we’re approached to create content is “what do I need to do” or some variation of that. However, there are some things worth considering before approaching any production company:
- I want it like this but different.
Find other videos you would like yours to look like and copy the links. Maybe even find ones you’re not so keen on too. But the ones you do like are most important as this will help the production company to ensure they make something you will be proud of.
- Know what you want to say.
It doesn’t have to be fully scripted or anything as we can look after that for you. But if you can at least have bullet points of key messages, that will be very helpful to any production company and will again ensure great likelihood of you getting what you want.
- Know the destination.
You may want the content for cinema advertising, tv, or online - perhaps even two or all three of these outlets. Know what you are wanting to do and all potential destinations as TV or Cinema advertising require different emphasis than online.
- Just call.
